# Overview

[Rapid Router](https://www.codeforlife.education/rapidrouter/) (RR) is a free, online educational game that introduces foundational coding concepts to kids from age 5 to 14 (key stages 1-3). With 109 levels, Rapid Router is our flagship service with the biggest user base.

The objective of each level is to get the [Ocado](https://ocadoretail.com/) van to deliver the groceries to all the houses. Kids will be required to create an algorithm to deliver the groceries to all the houses in the most efficient manner possible. Kids' algorithms are automatically scored and reported to teachers.

Using [Blockly](https://developers.google.com/blockly) (similar to [Scratch](https://scratch.mit.edu/)), kids program using drag-and-drop blocks to build their algorithms. The levels start off using Blockly and gradually progress to pure Python code.
